Friends

so i'm posting early today because I had a thought - maybe a revelation even.  I have my mailing list for thinkpositive30 where I send out positive quotes monday - friday.  When i started it, i didn't plan on changing the world or saving anybody - I just wanted to give people something positive to focus on.  Well the mailing list software that I use is very good and does what I need it to do (usually).  It lets me know when people sign up and stuff - it also lest me know when people leave.  It used to bother me when people unsubscribed, much like it bothered me when people stopped posting here - i kind of took it as a failure on my part, maybe I didn't respond to their posts enough, or maybe the messages i sent out were stupid or something...well today, I kind of thought that maybe I shouldn't look at it that way and i shouldn't take it personally....maybe instead, I should think that something I said, or something i wrote made a difference and that person is in a way better place now.

If this isn't allowed, I'll understand! I just thought some people might be interested in a new community I just created! It's called praying_rain and, as I'm sure you can guess, it's a community for Pray Rain Journaling :)

Day 4: Kinda hard finding something positive about today. I cleaned my bed sheets, which always makes me feel the most comfortable feelings ever. That sounded weird. I also read a "Chicken Soup" book and it made me really glad that I have confidence and that I genuinely care about other people. I really want to meet new people soon.

the house has been de-Christmased - all the stuff is down, but it was too cold (13 below zero) to put stuff up in the attic, so my bedroom now looks like Santa's workshop lol

4.0 this semester!!! yay me!!!

Today was hard, but there will be more difficult days to come. You may have received some very, very bad and scary news, but she will be okay, everything will be okay. If it's too hard to do it for yourself, do it for her! She will be so proud of you. <3 Brace yourself, embrace a new life, do not be afraid.

Day 3: I had an awesome day with my best friend who is back from college on holiday. :) She knows I'm gay and loves me anyway. She's one of the few I've told & it's really amazing spending time with her. We just click and I can't wait to babysit her kids when we get older! (Cause I'm totally not sure about the having kids thing. I, physically, don't wanna have 'em.)

Work was easy today.   My hair looks really healthy for some reason.  I got $50 from selling old jeans to the consignment store.  My AE scarves came in the mail, and they are beautiful.

Day 3: I got al my chores done before school starts back up. & I wrote a nice little piece of fanfic that I'm particularly proud of.  

I got ALL the dvd's organized - this was NO mean feat, let me tell you

I didn't have to work today, and I got my last application done.

Day 2: My day may have been a wreck, but I got the last copy of Nintendogs for the DS in the walmart! :) Heck yeah.

Christmas 2009 has faded away and we survived - the kids were very happy with their gifts and mom managed to surprise me with a kick ass new popcorn maker - I'm very happy

I'm grateful for being able to watch the kids of the families I babysit for grow one year older in their holiday cards.

 I've lost track, so I'm not going to count anymore. :)

What brought me joy today:
A calm, peaceful morning at work.
Waking up and my man being in a cheery mood.
A tarot reading that blew my mind.
Shopping for veggies and red wine.

Current Mood: cheerful

Day 2 - I don't have to work until 6 pm - only a 4 hour shift!!!!! I got my new gloves in the mail today, and they fit perfectly!!!
